I’ve been longboarding for 2.5 years. My friend gave me my first longboard lesson which went horrible. I thought I would never set my foot on any board ever again.

What’s your favorite trick or thing to do on a board and why?

My two favorite tricks are spin and any no-comply variation. The thing that makes them my favorite is the amount of time and effort I have put in learning them.

How did longboarding change you as a person?

Longboarding gave me an opportunity to get out of my comfort zone and try something new. It also tested my courage when I showed up on a weekly longboard meeting in Cracow for the first time.

Do you currently have a sponsor? How did that happen?

I’m currently sponsored by Luca Longboards and Stant Wear. The proposition of being a team rider for Luca appeared in February when the owner asked me if I would be interested and invited me on a party where he launched the new collection of his boards.

As for Stant Wear, I got a message with an invitation to be a model for their website. Me and Stant team spent two great days taking photos and after the website was officially launched they asked if I would like to join their team 🙂

What are the benefits or perks of being sponsored?

First of all, being sponsored by Luca had a great impact on my skills. I’m sure that without this help I wouldn’t be on the same level that I am today.

Being a part of those two incredible teams gave me an opportunity to meet incredible riders in my country and abroad.

As a sponsored person, I’m doing my best to promote the brand as much as I can to return the favor which sometimes takes a lot of time and involvement.

Tell us about your everyday board, the board that you always ride with?

My everyday board is my precious Mini Ballar from Luca Longboards. It turned out to be the most universal out of all the boards I own.

It is a small dancer that allows me to dance while riding through my city. It feels very stable which makes it really comfortable to ride through obstacles like curbs.

Describe your setup, what’s good about it?

My Mini Ballar is paired with Paris Trucks V2 which I find perfect for smooth lines and Hawgs Wheels Fattie 63mm.

Do you have a (Pack, Crew, Longboard Org, or friends you skate with regularly)?

I am a part of our local Longboard Family or Krk City Surfers which is a more official name of our group. I first attended their meeting in 2016, back when I didn’t have my own board.

I attended only once but on that meeting I met my friend Kazzi. We had a brief contact through social media, but I we didn’t see each other for a whole year until I came back in 2017 with my first own board. It turned out Kazzi remembered me all this time and since he is such a kind and helpful person I decided to continue going to their weekly meetings.

After some time I managed to find some great friends there (yeah, you Asia <3) and before I knew it I was already a member of this cool family. ❤️

Who inspires you (longboarder or skateboarder) that makes you want to push your progression! Why?

My number one inspiration is Kate Voynova. I admire her skills and achievements. What I like about her riding the most is her effortless style and creative tricks.

She motivates me to try harder even when I feel like I’m never gonna get better.

What do you do outside longboarding?

I’m a student of Psychology at Jagiellonian University in Cracow.

At SYCLD2018, taken by Lotfi Lamaali. I’ve somehow managed to get to the sponsored semi finals of the dance and freestyle competition. One of the best experiences ever!
What are your struggles right now?

My main struggle is to survive cold Polish winter without being able to skate for about 5 months 😭
