2 years ago I saw riders doing dancing and stuff, I loved it, but I waited like a year to start longboarding myself.
What’s your favorite trick or thing to do on a board and why?
I think my favourite trick is the very famous kickflip, it just feels amazing
How did longboarding change you as a person?
Longboarding changed everything in my life, I wasn’t very self confident, but getting better at longboarding and having people who follows me for my work helped me so much!
Do you currently have a sponsor?
I don’t have a sponsor at this time.
What do you think are the benefits or perks of being sponsored?
I think being sponsored brings freedom, lots of time, I stopped doing tricks I used to do because my board suffered too much, so having a sponsor releases you from that problem.
Do you have an everyday board, the board that you always ride with?
My actual everyday board is a Flamingo from Timberboard, this board feels amazing!
Describe your setup, what’s good about it?
My freestyle/dancing setup is a Travelol Board, Travelol Air Trucks and Travelol Wheels, but I used to ride the Flamingo with Paris Trucks and Remember Wheels.
Do you have friends you skate with regularly?
I began alone, so when I learned a few tricks I tried to share these tricks to my friends, some of them still ride and are pretty good.
Who inspires you (longboarder or skateboarder) that makes you want to push your progression!
My first inspiration as I started riding a lot I think is Hans Wouters, when I started longboarding he taught me everything, but now the rider who inspires me the most is Bum Seok
How did this person affect the way you longboard?
Thanks to Bum Seok I changed all my setup recently, and Hans’s style is the base where I built my own style.
Describe briefly what do you do outside longboarding?
I’m just a student, and I do a lot of music too.
What would people be surprised to know about you?>
3 years ago I wasn’t capable of putting my feet on a board without falling … And I hated those who could.
What are your struggles right now?
Well, longboarding of course.
One piece of advice when struggling to land a trick
The most important thing is to have fun, if you don’t have fun while you work on that trick, stop trying it for now.
