Born in Brazil
Based in Sofia the capital of Bulgaria, Southeast Europe we are LongDayBoarding and we practice almost every style of longboarding from Speed Cruising, Dance, Freestyle, Freeride and Downhill.
How long has the organisation been around? And how did it start?
Our organization was founded in 2011 and we are very happy to do what we love for more than 7 years.
It all started when we made our first picture and realized that we needed a place or an organization on the Internet to present our pictures and what we do. And here’s how it all started.
Our founder is Martin Radnev – skateboarder, snowboarder from the early 2002 and professional longboarder from 2011. Also he is the man behind the camera who shot almost all of our photos and videos.

How do you get people to join? How many current members?
With riding, love and positive vibes!
Our family is about 15 people. We also have many ambassadors across Europe.

What is your Community or Organisations main goal?
Our goal is to popularize this sport in Bulgaria and to allow more people to feel the magic of longboarding.

Also, our main goal is set upon the youngest riders. We want to teach them how to ride well, how to respect themselves and others. This way we think we would be able to unite our community and work together for the better future!

How do you plan to achieve this goal?
We plan to do it with many different activities, Longboard Meetings, different Workshops for young and more advanced riders, Events and Competitions, Longboard Exhibitions and other stuff.

Do you guys have a regular spot or meeting place?
Yes, we have. The name is “The LongBoard Spot – Borisova Garden”
In fact, this is the park where we started to ride from the beginning!
What is your meetup like? How do members know when there is a meetup?
We have a facebook group in which we write when someone wants to ride and it works very well. The group is named “The LongBoard Spot – Borisova Garden” – same as the name of our spot.
Age and background of members
From 3-4 years old to 50+
We have members who are Students, Architects, Designers, Photographers, Doctors, owners of Kindergartens and many other different businesses. That’s a small part of us.
We also have whole families who ride longboard. It’s just great how longboarding connects so many and different people in one big family!

What are your struggles right now?
To unite the whole community! To have better conditions for riding!
To find shops, brands and organizations to help us in our endeavor!
Special events that you guys started or organized
Yes, our biggest event is “The Longboard Meeting of the Year”, it’s a traditional longboard meeting we’ve been doing every year since 2011. All these years we have had visitors from Greece, Serbia, Romania, Germany and many other countries in Europe.

What do you think is the future of longboarding?
We think the Longboarding future is bright and good! Especially if we all work together in that direction!
What do you wish it could be?
To have more good and positive riders!
