Have you ever wondered what’s up with the Loaded Boards “Dervish Sama”? Well you can stop wondering because Anastasija Židovlenkova · @nice_tea is kind enough to write down the results of her own experience with one of Loaded’s most enduring boards.
/ Dervish Sama / · Sama is the Sufi ceremony focusing on active meditation as a tool for the individual’s spiritual journey. The origin of this practice is credited to Rumi, a poet and founder of the Mevlevi order of “whirling dervishes“.

Very flexible, it even gives you a little bit of trampoline feeling. Really low, what gives you a nice feeling on the turns.
How long have you been using it?
4 years, from the first step on a longboard.
How often do you ride it? (What purpose, commuting, freestyling, freeriding, downhill etc)?
This is my the only one deck, so I ride it whenever I ride. I use it for dancing, freestyle and pumping. I tried to downhill with it, but you need to tighten up trucks really good before going down. Also tried to learn slides with Dervish and I would say it’s good, I just don’t really like to slide.
Low and flexy! It gives an amazing feeling!
What can be improved?
If something would be changed, it wouldn’t Dervish anymore, so I wouldn’t change anything!
Why should I include it in my quiver (collection or arsenal)?
It’s multipurpose deck – you can do literally anything with it. And especially if you are a beginner and you don’t really know what kind of stuff do you want to do, with Dervish Sama you can try and, most important, enjoy everything!
Unfortunately I don’t have a lot of photos of the deck, it’s only my feet with it 😀 Sorry for that.
